Sierra Monitor FieldServer BACnet Explorer NG (Next Generation) is a cloud-connected network discovery and management solution for BACnet networks. The FieldServer BACnet Explorer NG is designed to seamlessly and automatically discover BACnet MS/TP and BACnet/IP networks. This device also allows developers to test newly installed devices, debug the network, upload device and network information to the cloud, integrate device and network data with sophisticated cloud-based software applications, and provide a control path back to the network and devices. The BACnet Explorer NG also acts as a Wi-Fi® access point for point for configuration and remote access from any mobile device without user restrictions.
The FieldServer BACnet Explorer NG has a user-friendly configuration page to streamline the setup process. With the push of a button, the user can discover all the BACnet devices connected to the Explorer. The BACnet Explorer NG also supports BBMD as a standard feature, allowing it to view all configured BBMD networks for testing and debugging.
The Sierra Monitor FieldServer BACnet Explorer NG is offered in two configurations:
FS-BENG-W (Wi-Fi): Features one RS-485 port, one Ethernet 10/100 port, and supports Wi-Fi network connection.
FS-BENG-C (Cellular): Features one RS-485 port, one Ethernet 10/100 port, and supports cellular and Wi-Fi network connection.
Both models include a power supply, SMA antenna, termination screwdriver, and DIN rail mount bracket.

SMC Cloud registration connects devices to the cloud, allowing secure remote access for diagnostics, monitoring, alarming, and configuration
Secure data interface through RESTful API with premium account
On-board diagnostics allow easy troubleshooting for both serial and Ethernet communications
MDIX port allows any Ethernet cable to be used for commissioning and installation
Utilizes DHCP to automatically obtain IP settings from the network
