RushUp KITRA 520 Board features a Samsung ARTIK 520 SoC module and is used to develop products from an off-the-shelf industrialized board. The KITRA 520 provides a power supply and additional peripherals to the ARTIK module, like sensors, multimedia, input, output and ADC, accelerating IoT applications.
An on-board STM32F411RE microcontroller handles the peripherals and the ARTIK communicates with it through a serial interface. Samsung's ARTIK 520 Module is a highly integrated system-in-module that utilizes a dual core ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor packaged DRAM, Flash memories and a Secure Element. A wide range of wireless communication options like 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth® 4.1, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and 802.15.4/ZigBee® communications are available.
The KITRA 520 is housed in a 30x25mm footprint. The ARTIK 520's combination of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ZigBee make it the perfect choice for home automation and home hub devices, while also supporting a rich UI/UX capability with camera and display options. The hardware based Secure Element works with the ARM TrustZone® and Trustonic's Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) to provide "bank level" security end-to-end.
